A reward of £20,000 has been announced for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder of a 26-year-old man who was shot dead in a Motherwell tower block. Jordan Gray was found deceased in his flat on Shields Court at approximately 14:30 on 18 December. Police Scotland stated that he had sustained fatal injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.

Despite extensive investigations, Crimestoppers, the charity involved in the case, revealed that the firearm used in the shooting has yet to be recovered. To encourage the public to come forward, the organization is offering a significant monetary incentive for any leads that could assist law enforcement in solving the case.

Angela Parker, who serves as the National Manager for Scotland at Crimestoppers, acknowledged that some individuals may hesitate to contact the police. However, she emphasized that information can be provided anonymously through the charity. Parker described the incident as “a shocking act of violence that took the life of a young man in his own home and left a community fearful and grieving.”

She called on anyone with relevant details to come forward, stating, “What you tell us could bring justice for Jordan, his family, and the community. Even the smallest piece of information could help find those responsible for Jordan’s death.
