Men guilty over gun attack plot on Manchester Jewish community

Two individuals have been convicted for orchestrating a firearm assault intended to inflict significant damage on the Jewish community in Manchester. Walid Saadaoui, aged 38, and Amar Hussein, 52, harbored strong animosity towards Jewish people and conspired to import guns into the UK as part of a scheme inspired by Isis, as revealed at Preston Crown Court. Believing they were collaborating with a third accomplice named ‘Farouk,’ who appeared to share their extremist ideology, they were, in fact, communicating with an undercover officer.
