Liverpool Markets are offering a wide variety of options for those seeking unique Christmas gifts or a festive treat. Throughout November and December, several markets across the city will showcase an array of goods from local independent businesses and farmers. Shoppers can find everything from fashion and handmade crafts to fresh food and beverages.
This holiday season, multiple markets will run on different days to accommodate visitors. The Greatie Market will be open every Saturday until Christmas, while Garston Market takes place on Fridays. Meanwhile, the Tuebrook Car Boot and Market operates twice weekly, on Thursdays and Saturdays. Stanley Park Market will make a scheduling adjustment by closing on Wednesday, 3 December due to a Liverpool Football Club match; however, it will open instead on Sunday, 30 November, from 10am to 3pm. Its regular Wednesday hours will then resume from 10 December through Christmas Eve.
Adding to the festive spirit, the City Centre Artisan Markets return to Basnett Street with approximately 30 traders offering food, drink, and gifts on two Saturdays: 29 November and 6 December. Later in December, farmers and craft markets will appear in Woolton Village on 13 December and on Lark Lane on 20 December, featuring a selection of unique, locally produced foods and gifts.
A special Outdoor Community Market is planned for Sunday, 7 December at Goodison Park’s Park End as part of the wider festive events around County Road. This family-friendly market will include community stalls alongside various traders and seasonal activities. For full details, Liverpool residents and visitors can check the city’s official market schedule and plan their festive shopping accordingly
