Following the departures of Director General Tim Davie and News CEO Deborah Turness, the Culture, Media and Sport (CMS) committee summoned several high-ranking BBC officials to provide explanations regarding the unfolding situation.

Those called to give evidence included BBC Chair Samir Shah, BBC Board member Sir Robbie Gibb, as well as Michael Prescott, who previously served as an independent editorial advisor to the corporation.

This session offered an extensive opportunity to hear directly from prominent individuals involved in the ongoing challenges at the BBC.
