The Canadian singer, aged 31, flew into the city by private jet before heading to Abandon Ship in the city centre over the weekend. The video, set to his song Bad Honey, has already gained over 120,000 likes on Bieber’s Instagram account. While in Scotland, Bieber was also spotted playing golf at St Andrews and Gleneagles.

Bar manager Rae Wright shared her surprise when Bieber casually walked into the Abandon Ship bar with a few companions. Initially unsure if it was really the singer, Rae recalled how Bieber set up some equipment, turned on a few lights, and began filming his video right in the bar. Despite her initial doubt, Rae described Bieber as “lovely” and mentioned how he happily chatted with both staff and customers. She expressed her amazement at the fact that Justin Bieber had actually visited their bar.

Reflecting on the encounter, Rae mentioned how she is familiar with Bieber from his earlier years but did not initially recognize him in a beanie. However, it became apparent to her that it was indeed Bieber from his appearance and actions. She appreciated Bieber’s friendly demeanor, noting how he engaged with the bar staff and treated them like regular people. Rae expressed her excitement about the experience and remarked on how it would be a memorable moment once everything sinks in.

In addition to filming at the Dundee pub, Bieber also shared the video on his social media channels with the message “Bad Honey video for your headtops.” The bar also posted about Bieber’s visit on their Facebook page, inviting followers to watch the video filmed live at Abandon Ship in Dundee, Scotland. Footage circulating on social media shows Bieber enjoying drinks with locals at the pub, as well as photos of him having a beer on the streets of St Andrews.
