Mouth-watering fashion

It wasn’t just the designs that were eye-popping at London Fashion Week – some garments themselves had an especially tasty twist.

Dame Prue Leith wore a dress made from a vintage RAF parachute by Irish designer Paul Costello. The Great British Bake Off judge isn’t the only famous name attending London Fashion Week – Romeo Beckham made his Official London Fashion Week Debut at the H&M show, and the designer Luella Bartley was back in London presenting Holly Fulton’s new collection.

The new faces of fashion

This London Fashion Week has also seen a focus on up-and-coming British talent. Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY – the Scottish Designer of the Year 2021 winner – returned with a show-stopping collection.

Essex Studio – a new imprint of TikTok star Addison Rae’s ITEM Beauty line – received a warm welcome at its first-ever show.

And Danish Copenhagen Fashion Week designer Cathy Jensen made a splash with her debut show featuring sustainable collections ranging from tailored trouser suits to extravagantly delicate knitted dresses in rose.

With fresh designs, vibrant personalities and innovative twists on tradition, London Fashion Week has once again showcased the cutting edge of couture – all with a royal seal of approval from the Queen herself.
