When he was just 16 years old, Judah Cousin began experiencing hair loss, a process he described as “completely and utterly exhausting.” This condition, known as male pattern baldness or androgenetic alopecia, caused Judah to isolate himself from loved ones and feel controlled by his changing appearance. He emphasized the importance of finding confidence through whatever means work best for each individual and encouraged open discussions about dealing with hair loss. Judah is also working on a film, More Than What You Are, to share his journey and help remove the stigma associated with male pattern baldness.

Luke Shepherd, a school teacher, shared his experience of getting a hair installation, describing it as “completely life-changing.” Former rugby player Xavier Rush also underwent a hair transplant to address concerns about his appearance, highlighting the decreasing stigma around such procedures. Non-surgical hair replacement specialist Sharon Thomas noted an increase in male clients seeking instant solutions like hair systems for boosting confidence and self-esteem
