Family 'heartbroken' over fatal Isle of Wight helicopter crash

Julia Buzar and Wojtek Kowalkowski, residents of Bloxham in Oxfordshire, tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash on the Isle of Wight. The couple was among four individuals on board the aircraft, which went down near Shanklin on Monday morning. The devastating incident also claimed the life of another individual, while a fourth person is currently hospitalized in serious condition.

In the wake of this heart-wrenching tragedy, a fundraiser has been initiated by Jacob Butler to support the affected family. Jacob’s partner, Julia Buzar, is mourning the loss of her mother and partner in the crash. The sudden and profound loss has left the loved ones of the deceased struggling to come to terms with the reality of the situation.

Justyna Czoska, one of the victims, had been an instructor at Turpins Lodge Riding School in Hook Norton, Oxfordshire, for several years. Described as cheerful, reliable, and conscientious, Justyna was widely admired by both colleagues and clients at the riding school. Her untimely passing has left a significant void at the establishment, with the staff and customers deeply affected by the tragic news.

Witnesses recounted seeing the helicopter spiralling out of control before it crashed in a field adjacent to the A3020 at 09:20 BST. The flight had departed from Sandown Airport around 09:00 and was carrying four passengers, including the pilot, for a flying lesson. While the identities of the victims have been disclosed, the community is collectively mourning the loss of these individuals and coming to terms with the aftermath of the crash
