“People hear about what we do and they want us to rescue their trees,” Saunders says. “It’s very humbling to be entrusted with that responsibility. Saving a tree is as good as planting one. It feels like you’re kind of keeping it alive.”
Now, spurred on by innovations such as resin casting (which has helped make the company financially viable while they establish their network and reputation), Saunders dreams of going global. He could provide the answer to a city’s tree removal predicament – from ash dieback to storm damage – and his imagination knows no bounds.
