Prosecutor Jonathan Polnay KC described the break-in as a “sophisticated and carefully planned attack” with alleged terrorist connections. Mr. Khalid, hailing from Stockport in Greater Manchester, is one of five individuals facing charges in connection with the break-in. His plea hearing is set for 16 January 2026, with a provisional trial date scheduled for 18 January 2027. Others involved in the case, including Amy Gardiner-Gibson, Jony Cink, Daniel Jeronymides-Norie, and Lewis Chiaramello, are also in custody and are expected to appear in court on the same dates
