Merseyside Police initiated a thorough review of the case two years ago, an inquiry that is still ongoing today. Howard Rubbery of the Serious Case Review Unit has emphasized the need for closure, highlighting the callous actions of the assailants who showed no regard for the lives they endangered that fateful night. Detectives are particularly interested in any information regarding a gold Lexus that was possibly abandoned shortly after the incident on Richard Kelly Drive in Clubmoor. Additionally, authorities have expressed interest in speaking with Kevin Thomas Parle, who is believed to be residing abroad and is wanted in connection to another murder case in Liverpool.
