In a recent court case at Nottingham Crown Court, a garden gun maker and a notorious figure known as the “drugs general” were sentenced to jail for their involvement in producing and distributing “assassination kits” to organized crime groups across the country. Nottinghamshire Police uncovered a large-scale firearms smuggling operation, indicating the involvement of the convicted individuals in producing and selling weapons to criminal groups nationwide. The court heard that the trio orchestrated a long-standing conspiracy to distribute firearms, with Knowles reportedly converting dozens of replica pistols for the operation.
Detective Chief Inspector Mark Adas described the operation as one of the largest firearms manufacturing setups he had encountered in the East Midlands. The court proceedings shed light on the extensive network of criminal activities managed by the defendants, with evidence pointing to their significance in the illicit firearms trade
