Yung Filly, the British rapper, is now facing additional charges in connection to the alleged sexual assault of a woman during his tour in Australia. The rapper, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, made an appearance in Perth District Court to address the charges against him. Back in March, Barrientos pleaded not guilty to several charges including assault causing bodily harm, strangulation, and sexual penetration without consent.
New court documents reveal that Barrientos is now facing two additional counts of sexual penetration without consent, bringing the total number of charges against him to six. The alleged assault took place on 28th September while Barrientos was on tour in Australia. He has been out on bail since October 2024 after being accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s in his hotel room following a performance in Hillarys, a suburb of Perth.
In a separate incident, Barrientos admitted to a reckless driving charge in December after being caught driving over 96 mph near High Wycombe in Perth. Despite these legal troubles, the rapper is known for his work with the YouTube collective Beta Squad and has appeared on popular TV shows like the celebrity edition of Bake Off on Channel 4 and BBC Three programs. A 10-day trial is scheduled to commence on 20th July 2026 to address the various charges brought against Barrientos
