Andrew and Tristan Tate will return to UK to face charges, lawyer says

Brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate are set to face 21 criminal charges in the UK once legal proceedings against them in Romania have come to an end, as per their legal representatives. The Tates are currently under investigation in Romania for unrelated charges that they deny. Their lawyers stated that the brothers will return to the UK to address the allegations against them once the proceedings in Romania have concluded. Previously, the brothers’ legal team mentioned that the UK allegations date back to the period between 2012 and 2015.

A Romanian court has granted extradition of the Tates to the UK post the resolution of their trial in Romania. The CPS highlighted the importance of settling domestic criminal matters in Romania before addressing the UK charges.

Andrew Tate, a 38-year-old influencer and former kickboxer, faces 10 charges related to three alleged victims, while Tristan Tate, 36, faces 11 charges connected to one victim. The CPS’s decision to charge the brothers came following the receipt of evidence from Bedfordshire Police. The Tates’ solicitors have condemned the media coverage surrounding the allegations, citing misinformation and a lack of clarity on the allegations faced by their clients. They emphasized the importance of a fair trial for everyone involved in legal proceedings in England and Wales
