Liverpool City Council is pleased to announce a series of upcoming workshops this summer, designed to assist individuals looking to start their own businesses. With a growing demand for entrepreneurial guidance, the program aims to provide expertise in various essential areas including legal compliance, financial planning, marketing, and business strategy.
In the month of April, Liverpool City Council experienced a surge in residents seeking support for a diverse range of business ideas, spanning from food & drink to activewear, advertising, beauty, sustainable fashion, manufacturing, and training. In response to this, the Business and Economic Support team has tailored free sessions to aid local businesses in their growth and development.
The initial workshops, set to take place in June, are currently open for registration. The dates include sessions focused on Start-Up Support: A Legal Checklist, Financial Planning, Developing a Simple Marketing Strategy, and Introduction to Business Planning and Market Research. These workshops are part of Liverpool City Council’s Business Support Service, funded by the UK Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund and overseen by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.
Aspiring entrepreneurs are urged to secure their spots early, as additional sessions and engagement events in various neighborhoods across Liverpool will be announced in the coming weeks.
