Glastonbury reveals new site map for 2025, expanding dance music areas

The 2025 Glastonbury site map has been unveiled, showcasing a redesign of key dance music areas like Silver Hayes, Shangri-La, Arcadia, and The Glade. The new map was made public on Saturday, highlighting changes to music fields, campsites, and surrounding facilities. Shangri-La will be expanding to include a larger public area and a new section called Dragon’s Tail, which will include a bar. The details of this new space have not been fully confirmed yet.

In April, Shangri-La announced that it would undergo a redesign for 2025 with the theme ‘The Wilding’, introducing four new stages in a complete overhaul of the dance music-focused area. Additionally, Silver Hayes will feature a larger public space this year, with the Firmly Rooted Soundsystem stage changing its location. The Levels and Lonely Hearts Club stages will expand spatially, but the Assembly stage will shrink in size after being unveiled as an indoor dance music space in 2024.

The Glade and Arcadia will also undergo some changes in 2025, with larger crowd areas and adjustments to the layout. The Other stage will welcome a larger audience area while its adjoining Oxlyers campsite will be reduced in size. Public camping areas like Pylon Ground and South Park 2 will be increased, and new toilets will be added in select locations across the site. Most festival areas have finalized their 2025 line-ups, including Silver Hayes, Glade, Shangri-La, and San Remo, with Glastonbury Festival scheduled to take place from June 25 – 29.

Tickets for the festival went on sale in November and sold out in just 35 minutes. To view the new Glastonbury map, visit the official website. Gemma Ross, Associate Digital Editor at Mixmag, provides updates and insights on Twitter
