Eyewitnesses in Swindon described a scene where a group of men entered a cafe, ordered refreshments, and then apprehended the suspect as he exited the establishment.
Commander Dominic Murphy of the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command emphasized the significant complexity of the ongoing investigation. He stated that authorities are exploring multiple leads to determine the potential motives behind the plot and assess any additional risks to public safety that may be associated with the case.
