Warp Records to take over the Barbican Centre this summer

This summer, the Barbican Centre will be transformed by Warp Records for a special one-off event. The event, titled A WARP HAPPENING, will feature exhibitions, screenings, performances, and live premieres throughout various spaces within the art complex on June 14. Performances from label affiliates like Evian Christ, Battles, Clarissa Connelly, kwes., and Seefeel are set to take place during the event.

This showcase will mark Warp Records’ first major London event in over a decade, celebrating the label’s “reality-blurring creativity” and exploration through sound and vision. The 12-hour event will conclude with a finale concert in the Barbican’s Main Hall, featuring live performances from artists on the Warp roster. Additional acts and details of the event’s program will be revealed in the coming months.

For those interested in attending A WARP HAPPENING at the Barbican Centre, tickets can be purchased through the official website. Stay tuned for more updates on the event as it approaches.
