A brand-new venue with a capacity of 450 is preparing to open its doors in the vibrant area of Hackney Wick in London. Known as Number 90 Hideout, this venue is a result of the split of the iconic canalside venue into three distinct spaces: Number 90 Live, Number 90 Bar, and now Number 90 Hideout. While the interior of Number 90 Hideout may look familiar to some, the venue’s team has completely redesigned the dancefloor area. Renovations include wooden panelling on the walls and floor, as well as acoustic enhancements throughout the space.
One of the standout features of Number 90 Hideout is the custom wooden DJ booth located at the center of the dancefloor, accompanied by unique lighting and 360 projection mapping. Additionally, the venue boasts Number 90’s renowned D&B soundsystem. Although the official launch is scheduled for the upcoming month, keen observers may have already caught a glimpse of Number 90 Hideout during Barry Can’t Swim’s recent appearance at The Mixmag Lab London.
Co-founder of Number 90, Bruno Cabral, expressed his excitement about the new venue, stating, “We didn’t just renovate a venue, we built an experience. Every panel, every angle, every speaker was positioned for optimal sound. Whether you’re a DJ, a performer, or just here for the atmosphere, Hideout will change the way you hear music and experience events.” Renowned DJ and producer Giles Smith also shared his enthusiasm for being involved with Number 90 Hideout, highlighting the venue’s stunning space and predicting its success as one of the premier clubs of its kind in the capital and beyond.
