Bhim Kohli death: Park attack victim 'made slapping motion at girl', trial told

Bhim Kohli, an 80-year-old man who tragically passed away from a neck injury after an attack in Franklin Park in Braunstone Town near Leicester on 1 September, was involved in an altercation with a 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, both of whom are currently standing trial for his death. The court heard that the incident began when Mr. Kohli hit the boy on the back of his legs with a shoe and raised his arms as if in a slapping motion toward the girl.

The girl, who is facing charges of manslaughter, testified in court about her relationship with her co-defendant, the 15-year-old boy, who denies both murder and manslaughter charges in relation to Mr. Kohli’s death. The girl stated that she and the boy had known each other for about a month leading up to the incident on 1 September, when the tragic events unfolded.
