Dr. Manjeet Shehmar, the medical director at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, expressed concern over the potential breach of privacy, stating that the trust is looking into suspicions that staff members may have inappropriately viewed the medical files of the three victims. The families of the deceased have been notified about the investigation and will be kept informed of any developments.
Dr. Shehmar conveyed her sympathies, acknowledging the additional distress this situation may cause for the already grieving families of Ian, Grace, and Barnaby.
