Mixmag named Midnight Riot as one of the most influential disco labels of the last decade. Andy Williams, also known as Yam Who?, released music on his own labels and others, such as Papa Records, Electric Minds, and Ubiquity. He was part of the DJ and production duo Qwestlife, releasing records on Glitterbox, a sublabel of Defected. Williams also worked as the disco editor for Mixmag from 2016 to 2020.
