The security measures will be implemented in various sections of the city, including the city center and Leith, from 10:30 to 16:30 on the day of the match. Chief Superintendent Robertson emphasized that these measures will be exercised judiciously and only when deemed necessary to deter disorder and serious violence. He stated that recent unruly incidents, such as attacks on officers and attempts to conceal identity to evade justice, will not be tolerated, stressing the importance of public safety.
