In Nottingham, a murder inquiry has been initiated following the discovery of a man’s body at the location of a reported violent burglary. Nottinghamshire Police confirmed that detectives found the man at an industrial unit on Lodge Lane, Tuxford, around 22:40 GMT on Tuesday. The man, identified as 22-year-old Taylor Green, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two individuals, a 24-year-old man, and a 21-year-old woman, were taken into custody on suspicion of murder in connection with the ongoing investigation. While the man remains in custody, the woman has been released without charge as of Thursday afternoon.
Detective Inspector Clare Gibson, who is leading the investigation, expressed condolences to Mr. Green’s family during this challenging time. Police are actively searching for three additional males linked to the aggravated burglary, with various teams and resources dedicated to the search.
