The murder investigation surrounding the death of a 34-year-old man has taken a significant turn as two more men have been charged with his murder. Ryan Burton, a resident of Corby, Northamptonshire, passed away in hospital on the 16th of January, six days after being attacked in Spring Rise Park, located off Highfield Road in Kettering. Following the uncovering of new evidence, Connor White, 25, from Spencer Street, Rothwell, and Kyle Derek McSkimming, 23, from Pen Green Lane, Corby, were re-arrested by the police.
Both White and McSkimming have been charged with one count of murder and one count of robbery in connection to the incident. The robbery charge pertains to an event that transpired on Wallis Road in Kettering on the same evening that Mr. Burton sustained his fatal injuries. Meanwhile, three other individuals are currently in custody after being charged with murder and robbery. Cameron Williams-Ferguson, 25, Keiton Underwood, 20, and Ace Hill, 18, were set to appear at Northampton Crown Court on the 21st of March.
Detective Chief Inspector Johnny Campbell has urged the public to come forward with any information they may have regarding the case, emphasizing the importance of even the smallest details. The police have already arrested a total of 15 individuals as part of the ongoing investigation. Aside from the aforementioned suspects, four men from Kettering have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently out on police bail. Additionally, a 28-year-old woman from Kettering was released on bail after being apprehended for allegedly attempting to obstruct the course of justice. Five other individuals who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender are also pending further investigation while out on bail
