The nominees for the upcoming BRIT Awards have been announced, with the ceremony set to take place on March 1st at London’s O2 Arena. Charli xcx, who had a successful 2024 with her hit record ‘BRAT’, leads the pack with five nominations. She has been nominated for Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Dance Act, Pop Act, and Album of the Year.
Another artist who received multiple nominations is jungle artist Nia Archives, who made history as the first jungle artist to receive three BRIT Award nominations. She was nominated under the Artist of The Year and Dance Act categories for 2025, and previously received a nomination for the Rising Star award in 2023.
Ezra Collective, who won the Mercury Prize in 2023, have also been nominated for four awards this year including Album of the Year, Group of the Year, Best New Artist, and Alternative/Rock Act.
The nominees for other categories include artists such as Becky Hill, Chase & Status, Dave, Stormzy, Ghetts, Little Simz, Confidence Man, Jamie xx, Michael Kiwanuka, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Fontaines D.C., and Jorja Smith.
According to Damian Christian, from Atlantic Records, “This year’s nominations once again showcase what an incredible array of diverse talent we have here in the UK. I’m delighted that Charli is having her moment with an amazing five nominations. Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees.”
