Tenby crash: Six-month-old girl dies and man charged


A tragic incident occurred in Tenby, Pembrokeshire when a six-month-old girl lost her life following a crash in a multi-storey car park. The infant victim was identified as Sophia Kelemen hailing from Leigh, Greater Manchester. Sophia was swiftly rushed to the hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries the following day.

In a press release, Dyfed-Powys police confirmed that a suspect had been arrested for causing the accident. 33-year-old Flaviu Naghi from Wigan faced several charges, including causing death by dangerous driving, driving without a license, and driving without insurance. Mr. Naghi was also held under police custody on the suspicion of drug and drink driving. He has been remanded to custody until his next court hearing scheduled to be held on 7 February at Swansea Crown Court.

The authorities expressed their condolences to Sophia’s family, who was understandably devastated by the loss. They assured that specially trained officers were offering them their support at this difficult time.
