Emergency services were called to Silverdale Close in Aylesbury at 4:20 pm GMT on Friday. The victim was found with serious injuries and died at the scene. Formal identification has not yet taken place, but the man’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from trained officers.
Det Insp Nick Hind, the senior investigating officer, said that “extensive enquiries” were underway. He also urged anyone with information about the case to come forward. Officers will remain on the scene for some time, but police believe there is no wider risk to the community at this time.
