The police describe the suspect as a white male aged between 20-30 years old, who had on a grey baseball cap, cargo pants, and a dark hoodie. His face was covered so he is yet to be identified. The criminal is suspected to have targeted the house between 5-5:30 pm and escaped through a second-floor window.
Among the items stolen were two De Beers butterfly diamond rings, pink sapphire earrings, resembling butterflies, created by Katherine Wang, and a gold, diamond, and sapphire Van Cleef necklace, amounting to a total value of £10.4m. The missing jewellery includes many unique designs, making it easily identifiable, state the Metropolitan Police, who are investigating the case.
