Fake paramedic rapist from Norwich a danger to society – victim


A victim of Jamie Kadolski, the man found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting women he met through Tinder and who posed as a paramedic as part of his crimes, has spoken out and called for the creation of a law that would make it a specific offence to pose as a paramedic. Kadolski, who was described as “predatory and remorseless” by police, will be sentenced on 7 February.

The anonymous woman, one of three Kadolski victims, has said that he presents a “high risk” to the public and is a “danger to society”. She recounted meeting Kadolski over the dating site and finding him initially amusing. But after a month, she was raped and sexually assaulted. She says that she was left feeling helpless, like she was “just a bag of meat to him” and has sequestered herself since.

The East of England Ambulance Service, where Kadolski worked as a call handler, has made changes following the case. All non-clinical staff now wear black uniforms. Kadolski initially used stickers on his ID to cover his lower role. Under the Health Professions Order 2001, it is illegal to use a health title that is not held. Kadolski used paramedic on his dating profile.

The victim has spoken to the BBC to tell her story and revealed that she would encourage any victim of rape or sexual assault to discuss their experience with the authorities. She said that her decision to report Kadolski was “a good decision” and that other victims should come forward
