Leaseholders tell BBC of fight with major freeholder Assethold


easeholders of a block of flats in London have told the BBC that they are being overcharged for shoddy or non-existent work commissioned by their managing agent, Eagerstates, which is owned by Assethold, the company that owns the freehold of the building. Through analysis of approximately 140 official court documents from the past five years, the BBC has discovered that Assethold, through Eagerstates, has overcharged leaseholders by at least £1,173,000 ($1.6m). Assethold has said that it is “deeply concerned” by the allegations of its leaseholders
