The Sunday Mirror reports his pledge to provide hope for a new and “changed Britain” after tough choices in the past.

Meanwhile, The Mail on Sunday reported that Starmer and his chief of staff, Sue Gray, enjoyed “freebie” football tickets just hours after allegations relating to clothes a Labour donor gifted to the Prime Minister’s wife came to light. The information suggested that these hospitality tickets were provided by Tottenham Hotspur for their match against Arsenal. The paper also released a photograph showing Starmer, Gray, and Foreign Secretary David Lammy in a corporate box beside Katie Perrior, one of the figures who tried to launch the failed breakaway European Super League.
