The Dare has unveiled his latest single, ‘You’re Invited’, along with its music video. The track, which features his signature vocals and guitar, will be part of his debut album, ‘What’s Wrong With New York?’, set for release on September 6. The Dare’s first release from the album, ‘Perfume’, also came with a music video and was dropped in June.
The New York vocalist and producer has been busy in recent times, having collaborated with Charli XCX and Billie Eilish on their recent hit, ‘Guess’. This has resulted in a high profile for the rising star in the scene. The Dare is no stranger to live sets and DJing, having honed his skills at his Manhattan party, Freakquencies.
The Dare’s debut LP was recorded over the last year and features a host of songwriting and production collaborations including Dylan Brady (100 gecs), Emile Haynie (Lana Del Ray, FKA twigs) and Chris Greatti (Yves Tumor). The album will be an exciting prospect for fans eagerly anticipating the release of ‘What’s Wrong With New York?’.
