Following a recent clash with a security guard at his hotel in Paris, Travis Scott, the Sicko Mode rapper, was arrested and later released without charges, according to the Paris prosecutor’s office. The fight occurred while Scott was in Paris to attend the Olympic Games, and while he was arrested, there were no injuries to anyone involved. As a result, there are no plans to charge him in the future. Scott had been seen at the US men’s basketball game with Quavo before the incident occurred.
Scott was in Paris to meet up with Twitch streamer Kai Cenat who he has joined for streams before. However, following Scott’s arrest, Cenat asked French police to release him during a livestream. This isn’t the first time Scott has had legal issues, as he was arrested in Miami for “disorderly intoxication and trespassing” back in June.
According to NBC News, Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was taken into custody at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at approximately 4:30 a.m. along with being charged for disorderly intoxication and trespassing property after warning by the police. Additionally, Scott has been in the headlines recently due to the trial for Astroworld’s final wrongful death lawsuit being officially set for later this year.
