Heathrow Airport was the site of a recent arrest as Katie Price was taken into custody by police. She was arrested for failing to attend court in relation to her previous bankruptcies. An arrest warrant had been out for her since July 30th, after which the former glamour model became a wanted person.
The Metropolitan Police reported that the 46-year-old was taken into police custody at 7:45 pm local time on August 8th. Price has been ordered to appear before a judge at the Royal Courts of Justice the following day.
Pictures have emerged of the former model wearing bandages around her face, standing near police vans at Heathrow. Her arrest came after returning to the UK. At a previous hearing, a judge had warned her of possible arrest if she failed to attend further court dates and that evidence must be given if she could not appear.
Price was declared bankrupt twice, in November 2019 and again in March of this year. In February, the court had ordered her to pay 40% of her income from OnlyFans – an adult entertainment website – to the trustee for the next three years in relation to her first bankruptcy case. Price’s legal struggles continue and it remains to be seen what further action will be taken regarding her recent arrest
