Music icon Usher has shared the official trailer for his upcoming concert film, titled “Usher: Rendezvous In Paris”. The movie will be available for a limited time in cinemas worldwide from September 12-15 and is being distributed by AMC Theatres Distribution, Trafalgar Releasing, and Sony Music Vision. Renowned filmmaker Anthony Mandler, who has worked with artists such as Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Rihanna, and The Killers, directed the project.
Tickets for the showings are currently available and can be purchased through the official website. Usher previously shared a sneak peek of the film on his social media channels, featuring him performing his 2010 hit single “OMG”. The newly released one-minute trailer features exciting footage of Usher traveling at night through the Parisian streets while performing some of his chart-topping hits.
Filmed entirely during his eight-night residency at La Seine Musicale, Paris, last year, the concert film provides exclusive coverage of Usher’s most iconic performances, including “Yeah!”, “My Boo”, and “Love In This Club”. Usher gives fans a glimpse behind the scenes, providing an in-depth look at life beyond the stage.
In an official synopsis of the film, Usher expressed his excitement for audiences to experience the concert in a different light. He hopes that those who were not able to attend the concert physically can get a sense of the magic that happened in Paris, while existing fans can view the show from another lens, thus appreciating it from a different perspective. Usher’s recent Emmy nomination for his Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show and his recent album, Coming Home, which was released earlier this year, have all contributed to an eventful year for the musician
