A stabbing occurred at the Reggae Land festival in Milton Keynes on August 4, leaving a man in critical condition. The incident took place in the main arena of the Milton Keynes Bowl, where the festival was held, and Thames Valley Police have taken statements from witnesses. The attack is thought to have occurred around 8:50 pm that evening, and police are currently conducting forensic examinations and CCTV enquiries.

According to a police statement, medical staff were present at the scene and transported the injured man to the hospital with stab wounds. The police believe the attack was targeted and have reassured the public that there is no risk to festivalgoers or the wider public. Thames Valley Police confirmed that they are conducting a thorough investigation in collaboration with the event organizers and their security team.

The police are now encouraging anyone with information regarding the incident or anyone who witnessed the attack to come forward. As of yet, Reggae Land has not commented on the incident. The annual reggae festival, featuring artists such as Gentleman’s Dub Club, Shabba Ranks, General Levy, Popcaan, and Koffee, took place over two days and has already announced next year’s edition on August 2 and 3, 2025
