Valorie Curry, who portrays the far-right extremist Misty Tucker Gray aka Firecracker in Amazon Prime Video’s satirical superhero series The Boys, has revealed that she wants her character to meet her end in the upcoming fifth season. Curry shared during a San Diego Comic-Con panel that she hopes Firecracker dies before the final episode because “she has it coming from many people.” With Homelander’s help, Firecracker has emerged as a major rival of Starlight and a new source of milk that has been altered with hormone medication.

The actress did not elaborate on how she would like Firecracker to die, but she suggested that Susan Hayward’s character, Sage, be the one to take on this brutal task. Curry said that it should be Sage and then she should “survive and have a spin-off” after putting an end to Firecracker’s villainous ways.

While The Boys fans await the fifth and final season of the popular series, they will soon learn more about Soldier Boy, a character played by Jensen Ackles, in the upcoming prequel series Vought Rising. The show, set in 1950s New York, will also delve into Aya Cash’s villainous character Stormfront’s backstory. Executive producers Paul Grellong and Kripke described the series as a “twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical manoeuvres of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought.
