A recent study has revealed the various iconic TV houses that have been re-created the most by The Sims 4 players. Clash.gg obtained data from the official The Sims 4 online gallery and discovered that over 2000 players had replicated The Simpson’s house, making it the most popular. Previously, The Simpson’s house has been replicated in Minecraft and Lego alike.
Monica’s apartment from Friends came in second on the list with 1363 re-creations, while Joey and Chandler’s apartment was the thirteenth most popular, built only 33 times. Other popular houses included buildings from New Girl, Bridgerton and Gilmore Girls. The Wandavision house was the tenth most replicated with 237 re-creations.
EA had announced in 2021 that the next generation of The Sims franchise was in development, following the 2014 release of The Sims 4. As of yet, no firm release date has been announced for the game.
Meanwhile, Paradox cancelled a rival Sims game, named Life By You, in June 2021. The game had been indefinitely delayed two weeks before its Early Access launch. A movie based on The Sims, produced by Margot Robbie’s production company LuckyChap, is currently in development.
Finally, Obsidian Entertainment’s Avowed has reportedly been delayed due to a busy Xbox Game Pass schedule. The game had been scheduled for a 2024 release
