Charli XCX has announced that she will be collaborating with Billie Eilish on a new remix of ‘Guess’. The news comes after Charli teased a remix with an unknown artist. The pair shared images on Twitter and Instagram with a question mark and a placeholder for the mystery artist’s name. Charli confirmed the collaboration and shared a snippet of the new track, which was released on the same day.
In response to several op-eds that declared the end of her wildly successful ‘Brat summer,’ Charli revealed that more new music is on the way. Fans have speculated that Chappell Roan will feature on a forthcoming Charli track after the artist shared an image of herself holding a CD copy of ‘Brat.’ Charli recently took her ‘Brat summer’ to Ibiza for a ‘Party Girl’-inspired set at the Boiler Room. During the performance, Charli welcomed Zoe Glitter, Alex Chapman, The Dare, and The 1975 member and her fiancé George Daniel to the stage.
In a four-star review of ‘Brat,’ NME wrote, “With ‘Brat’, XCX demonstrates that going her own way will always sound pretty good.” The album has been praised for its exploration of growing pains, grief, and self-confidence, and has become a milestone for Charli’s career.
