Megan Thee Stallion showed her support for Kamala Harris’ presidential election campaign by performing at a rally in Georgia. The rapper played a medley of her hits, including ‘Savage’, ‘Girls in the Hood’, and ‘Body’. Dressed in a blue pantsuit, Megan attended the event at the Georgia State Convocation Center, where she encouraged people to vote for Harris, calling her the first-ever female and Black female President of the United States.
Quavo, the former member of Migos, also spoke at the rally about gun violence and Harris’ commitment to ending it. Quavo established the Rocket Foundation in 2022 after his nephew and Migos member, Takeoff, was killed in a shooting. The rapper visited the White House last September to discuss ways of reducing gun violence in America.
The rally marked Harris’ first visit to Georgia since President Joe Biden pulled out from the race for re-election and endorsed Harris as the Democratic presidential candidate to run against the Republican nominee, Donald Trump. Numerous musicians, including Lizzo, Ariana Grande, and Olivia Rodrigo, have also shown their support for Harris.
Before her performance, Megan appeared in a TikTok video with Harris. The clip featured Megan, also known as the “Hot Girl Coach”, interviewing Harris and asking what the Vice President had to say to the American people. Harris responded by stating that they “are not going back”.
