Kit Harington has officially returned to the world of Game of Thrones in an advertisement for mobile game Legends. The mobile strategy game sees users enlisting a number of beloved characters from Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon to fight for their house and prepare for the long night. Some of the characters include Rhaenyra Targaryen, Arya Stark, the Hound, Ser Criston Cole, and Jon Snow. Now fans can witness Harington in action, by way of an advertisement released recently.
In the ad, Harrington states, “Winter is coming. I’m ready to forge my own destiny. I’ve composed my strategy, refined my tactics, I’ll solve every puzzle and overcome every challenge to defeat the deadliest threat we’ve ever faced; the long night.” After a resounding defeat, Harrington’s opponent taunts him with the famous Game of Thrones phrase “you know nothing Jon Snow.” However, Harrington retaliates with a blast of dragon fire in the backend of the ad.
Harington has shared his admiration for the game saying, “The creativity and care taken to create Game of Thrones: Legends is obvious and it feels completely natural to jump back into Westeros for this game. This is a true love letter to the fans, of whom the franchise would be nothing without, and I’m honoured to pay tribute to them in this new campaign.”
Game Of Thrones: Legends which was released last week, is a free-to-play puzzle game and is available now for mobile phones. Yaron Leyvand the executive vice president of mobile games at Zynga said, “we have worked closely with the team at Warner Bros. Games to bring Game Of Thrones universe and characters to life in a rich tableau.
