A devastating car crash on Sunday morning has resulted in the death of four friends in Gloucestershire, UK. Andrei Tudorov, a Romanian national, was visiting Gloucester and staying with Lyuben Gogov, Narcis Titianu, and Ioan Toma when the accident occurred. The black Renault Clio they were travelling in crashed into a tree on the A436 in Ullenwood near Cheltenham. Police found the car and all four occupants dead at the scene.
Each of the four families has paid tribute to their loved one. Tudorov’s mother, Iolanda, described her son as a “child full of dreams.” He was visiting from Romania where he planned to become a policeman after finishing the Baccalaureate. Gogov, a Bulgarian national, was remembered by his parents Krasimira and Borislav as a source of joy and memories. Titianu, the youngest of three Romanian siblings who moved to the UK nearly four years ago, was honoured by his family as a dedicated and ambitious individual who “left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.” He loved playing computer games in his spare time.
Toma, a fellow Romanian and friend of Titianu, was remembered as a “beacon of light in their lives.” His family stated, “Ioan’s constant smile and infectious laughter could light up the darkest room, and his presence brought happiness to all who knew him.” He was described as having had “a profound impact on the lives of those around him.”
Gloucestershire police announced that the cause of the accident is currently unknown. They are appealing to the public for anyone who might have information about the crash or any dashcam footage to come forward. A wreath-laying ceremony took place at the scene earlier this week in their memory. The families of the deceased have urged anyone who might have known any of their sons to remember their lives and character instead of focusing on their sudden and tragic end
