East Ham house fire: Children who died in blaze named

Three children, who have been identified as Nakash Malik, Aayat Malik and Muhammad Hanan Malik, died in a conflagration in East London. The parents of the deceased claimed that their children were a blessing and that their memories would be treasured. They expressed their love for them in words and prayed that they may rest in peace in heaven.

The fire started on the ground and first floor of a terraced house on Napier Road in East Ham, shortly before 08:30 British Summer Time on Saturday 13 July. A force spokesperson equipped with no suspicious evidence claimed that the Metropolitan Police officers continued to investigate the cause of the fire alongside the London Fire Brigade.

Further details of the occurrence have not been provided yet. Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are investigating the case under reference number CAD 2040/13 July. Any information regarding the case’s nature or what caused the fire will assist the investigative department.
