Liverpool City Council has launched a new outdoor marketing campaign throughout the city in order to promote its business support service. The campaign is aimed at local businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs and the fully funded business support packages provided are designed to foster growth and create employment opportunities throughout Liverpool. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund has awarded the Business Support Service £1.59m via the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. The innovative Embrace Your Full Business Potential campaign features advertisements in Moorfields and Central stations, as well as on digital screens at key bus stops and high-traffic locations, such as Queens Drive and Edge Lane, across Liverpool.

Director of Economic Strategy, Skills and Sustainability at Liverpool City Council, Kate Bull, praised the service, stating that “Liverpool is filled with hardworking, fantastic entrepreneurial people. Our Business Support Service helps them thrive by offering comprehensive support at every stage of business growth. From start-ups to established enterprises, we provide free essential resources for success.” The Business Support Service offers support that covers many categories, such as exporting and international trade, human resources, lean and process improvement, marketing and sales, procurement and tender readiness, and strategic business planning.

This outdoor campaign has been designed to raise awareness and encourage sign-ups for the Business Support Service, which includes Gateway to Business Support, Specialist Advice, Start-Up Support, and Cluster Development Work. Liverpool City Council encourages business owners, entrepreneurs, and residents with a business idea to register their interest and take advantage of the free Business Support Service.
