Paul Weller recently provided a surprise performance outside a small chip shop in West London. The Street party event was held as a closing party for George’s Fish Bar which saw Weller perform to locals in the area. During the intimate performance, Weller played a reggae version of his solo track ‘You Do Something To Me’, before breaking out a rendition of the title track from his 1993 album ‘Wild Wood’.

The singer, songwriter, and former frontman of The Jam also recently played a huge show at Edinburgh Castle while embarking on his latest tour. This surprise gig came after the release of his 17th solo album, ’66’, which saw him delve into topics including “faith, changing circumstances and the fractured realities of life in this turbulent age”.

Weller also shared details of another tour across the UK which will take place across the autumn. The stint includes stop-offs in Brighton, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Llandudno, Liverpool, and other locations throughout that month and early November. The tour concludes with a performance at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London on November 8 with special guest opener Liam Bailey.

Before that, he will play his first North American tour dates in seven years. Fans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster for the remaining US and UK tour dates.
