English trip-hop band Massive Attack has announced its first North American headlining tour since the Mezzanine XXI tour in 2019. The band will play in select cities across the US in October and will also make a headlining appearance at the iii Points Festival in Miami. The iconic trip-hop group will play in Boston, Atlanta, Washington D.C., and New York City. Massive Attack’s old Bristol Wild Bunch crew mate, DJ Milo, will be opening support on all of the dates. General ticket sales will start on July 19th at 10 a.m. local time.
Meanwhile, Massive Attack recently shared details of a new ‘Act 1.5’ show at Bristol Downs which will implement measures to reduce emissions. The band confirmed that in 2024, they would be performing at a ‘large-scale climate action accelerator event’ to celebrate 25 years of climate activism for the group. The pair’s homecoming gig will take place on August 25 at Clifton Downs in Bristol and will be their first UK show in five years. Killer Mike, Lankum, Sam Morton and DJ Milo are some of the other performers at the event.
The band has also recently canceled their gig in Georgia in a protest of the “government’s attack on basic human rights”. It will be the band’s first North American tour since 2019, with DJ Milo opening support on all dates.
Fans can buy tickets from this Friday, July 19th, at 10 a.m. local time. A full list of tour dates can be seen on the Massive Attack website, with links to ticketing information
