John Hunt, a racing commentator for the BBC, and his daughter Amy have expressed their grief over the loss of three loved ones in a crossbow attack at their family home in Bushey, Hertfordshire. A suspect, Kyle Clifford, 26, from Enfield, was arrested on Thursday evening on suspicion of murder.

John’s colleague, Matt Chapman, read out a message on the Sky Sports Racing channel, in which John paid tribute to his eldest daughter Amy’s bravery and composure.

A vigil was held on Thursday evening at St James’s Church in Bushey, where members of the community came together to pay their respects. A minute of silence was held at Newmarket Racecourse on Thursday, with jockeys wearing black armbands to show support for John and his family.
