Eminem has urged fans to listen to his upcoming album, ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)’, properly. In a social media post, the rapper revealed that the album, which is due to release on July 12th, is a conceptual one. The first single, ‘Houdini,’ which interpolated some of Eminem’s old hits, was released on May 31st. It featured references to the RuPaul, the transgender community, cancel culture and Megan Thee Stallion’s 2020 shooting incident, which sparked some controversy.
Eminem’s previous album, ‘Music to Be Murdered By,’ came out in January 2020. NME gave the album a three-star review and said that he continues to grow old disgracefully. Eminem seems to be having fun navigating his own space and providing his fans with a hook or two, before starting another lyrical work-out.
Eminem’s fans are eagerly waiting to see how his alter ego’s ‘death’ will shape up in his album. The rapper has left them with a warning to listen to the tracks in order to make sense of the story he is conveying through the album
