Idris Elba has expressed his desire to collaborate with US rapper Doja Cat. The actor, rapper and DJ made a list of his dream artists to work with which also included Black Coffee and Mark Ronson. Elba has recently been working with luxury French vodka brand, Grey Goose and featured in a short film for them. He played a set at Glastonbury last month and also appeared on the West Holts Stage. He performed with Don’t Stop Your Future, a UK youth violence and knife crime campaign he fronts.
Elba spoke to The Sun’s Bizarre column and shared his admiration for Doja Cat, saying she’s amazing and he would love to work with her. He also expressed interest in collaborating with Black Coffee and Mark Ronson. Elba entertained guests at the official Grey Goose Altius launch party in Ibiza earlier in May where he played a few tunes. He shared his experience working with Grey Goose in a new short film for the vodka brand, talking about the craft in every drop, which is exactly what you want when you’re celebrating something real.
To mark the launch of Grey Goose Altius, Elba shared a new song, ‘Pushing On’, last month featuring the American house singer Kathy Brown. Elba has also been involved with Don’t’ Stop Your Future, a UK-based anti-knife campaign. He played The Park’s Stonebridge Bar on the Saturday night at Glastonbury last month, and on Sunday, he appeared on the West Holts Stage with Don’t Stop Your Future campaign
